Pack of 11 Folding 2D/3D Geometric Solids including cube, cylinder, cone, triangular prism, square pyramid, triangular pyramid, rectangular pyramid, pentagonal pyramid, hexagonal pyramid, rectangular prism, pentagonal prism, and hexagonal prism. Made of durable plastic with rounded corners and edges, and 11 corresponding folding nets in 6 colours made from soft plastic. The solids have an 8cm base and are 100mm high. Activity guide included.
- Highly visual 2D/3D geosolids that really allow children to explore nets and composition of 3D shapes.
- 3D shapes are clear to allow net inside to be clearly seen, as well as taken out and folded out flat so the net can be explored in more detail.
- Individual 2D shape faces can be seen clearly and children can see how accurate folding of nets allows for the creation of 3D shapes.
- Must for classrooms from Year 3 onwards and even come with an activity guide for teachers to use to complement their own use of the resource.
